Painting Rock Ornaments

is it possible to paint these fake rocks there a bit to white for my likeing any idea wot paint to use?

Non-toxic, water proof acrylic paint I think.
However, due to algae and general tank mess, the white colour won't be so pronounced in the near future.

And underwater, it will decay over time and be nasty one day when you go to clean it. Were it a smaller surface I'd suggest epoxy paint...
