Owner Of 2 Terrapins (and A Fish They Havent Eaten!)

Hi everyone.

New to site, Have two yellow bellied terrapins and know nothing about them! (I only know there yellow bellied coz theyv got yellow bellys!!) Any general hints and tips would be grately appreciated!!

BTW:
How big is your tank?
Have you cycled it?

EDIT-ooops, just remembered that terrapins are turtles... Don't mind the questions then...

Could you give us a description of your tank?
Size, filter, heater, basking area etc.

And if you provided a picture of your turtles we would be able to make sure you have a Yellow Bellied Turtle. Please checkout www.turtletimes.com/forums for more information

I don't really like Turtle Times...
They can use whatever one they want... or ignore us and chose neither... I don't want to argue, though, or else we won't be able to post links to ANY forums.
Anyway. More about the turtles. RESGuy gave a good list of questions, but also, knowing the size of your turtles would help too.

Nah just kidding. Anyways, yes knowing the size of your turtles would help. And I would just like to let you know that YBS will grow to an adult size of 10 to 12 inches and you will need a 100 gallon to 120 gallon tank for each turtle. Or a 200 tank should suit two just fine
