Sweetie what are you doing in the woods at night? Or do you have woods at teh back of your garden?

That girl likes adventures and that means she's brave so what? Nothing will happen to her, except that she could get lost or chased by a bear or pack of wolves, see no big deal!!

depends what kind of owl little owls are active in the day most dusk till dawn if you hear thye typicall tooowit then a tooowooo its a pair of tawny owls male calls first then the female,
what kind of land are they on to help me identify the species though most probs tawny owls hun

regards scot :)

I think it might have been a wolf that walked past you. It won't have been a fox if it was strong padding. Foxes aren't big enough to sound heavy. Yes she has a woods right next to her back garden. The owls will come out at about 10pm till 2am then the foxes come out at 2am. She means tawny owls and barn owls.

If barn owls don't live in woods then why do we have both barn owls and tawny owls in our woods?? Plus I've seen wolves at the woods near me. Alot bigger than foxes i tell ya.

You sort of contradicted yourself there princesscoral. In captivity is in zoos. Wild is basically free roaming and captivity is in a cage basically.
I have seen grey wolves near the woods near me. Their not that big but they are bigger than foxes.

I think my grandaughter meant:

some foxes have big bushy tails and are big like a wolf but the only wolf you will find in the uk are in zoos in captivaty
