Oviposter questions

I noticed one of the new Jumbo Plakats I have purchased has a small with spot between his ventrals. It is oblong or irrgular in shape and rough looking. Not like a tube of egg or anything. Could this be an oviposter?

It is right beside the place where betta's do their thing (pooh)

The other one (kobie) has a white spot which looks like a small egg!!! Visible even from the side. And he/she has what appears to be a stripe running the lenght of the body.

Very different from the "white spot" I I saw on the first one (Ryujin). Confused

Breeder tells me they are both male. I guess I will just wait and see if they lay eggs

The oviposter is the egg tube. Some males show an oviposter also. Can you take any pics?

Some males have one too?? Hermaphrodite bettas maybe? Interesting........

I actually saw one. A Steel Blue Halfmoon with a white egg looking sport on its Belly just behind the ventrals/ These guy had long fins.
