I noticed one of my oscars not doing too well this morning. Though for sure he had a gill problem. Put him in a quarintine tank and watched him for a few hours. I just noticed something protruding from one of his gills. What do you know, he decided to eat one of mt otto's!! It looks like the otto is stuck sideways in the oscar mouth. Does anyone think there is an easy way to remove the otto without causing too much (or any) damage to the oscar. He is a bout four inches long so he's not that big yet. If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them!!

:hi: to the forum. Introduce yourself in the newbie section.

Wow, first time I ever heard this. Some of the fish is hanging outside the mouth and the rest is coming out of the gills? Is that right? How much of the fish is protruding from the gills?

Well thier is a chemical out thier that makes the fish all sleepy and then you are able to pick him up with a net. The lay him on glass andtake a plastic tweesers and then carelly extrude the oto.

BE CAFEFUL THOUGH!
