I started this topic out here, and now i'll show you the overstocked tank. I went to a pet store and took photos with my webcam so sorry about the blurryness.

part of me would buy all those fish and all the right-sized tanks for each of them, the rest of me is broke

I don't believe that  , that's just terrible, I can't believe they don't all have ich

phone RSPCA report them that is disgusting conditions to keep fish, where was the store m8?

That's shocking, Eelzor!

Why don't you think about contacting your local newspaper or tv station? Maybe you'll find someone to do a story. That would make them change their ways pretty fast.

that's bad, the pet store i bue fish at is always overstocked, but all fish are healthy when you get them, i would love to show you pics of pet store tanks that are overstocked but we are not allowed to take pics inside. hope someone could get the word out to news papers and tv's, might wake them up!!

The store is called 'pet city' in brisbane, queensland, australia. luckily thats the only store I ever saw with bad overstocking. I'll see what I can do about it. I may be going again this weekend and ask them whats up with the tank. :-(

dont they have extremly good filtration sysmtems which can hold a big number of fish and plus most fish get sold within a week but i doubt that happens with discus cos they are pricey and big -_- but it is over stocked :D but most lfs tanks are.... but they have the filtration to do it
