Overskimming

can you overskim, would a v2800 up to 800 litres be overkill on a 180 litre tank for a few weeks? i thought while i have my 180 set up i may as well use the skimmer while i wait to set up the bigger tank.

its debateable, i personally dont think its possible, when it cant skim, it wont, it wont go overboard.... You may deprive of nutrients, but thats a good and bad thing, depending on what you keep in your tank.

Big debate here. I don't have any scientific evidence to back up my personal theory that it's almoast impossible to over-skim. If anyone has non-subjective evidence to prove or disprove that oppinion, I'd love to see it, cause I've never read anything truly concrete about the subject. Just a lot of theories.
