How could this happen over night!!! I knew he had ick...he had the white crystals all over his body Monday morning when I got to work..and I treated for that.
Yesterday he seemed better, still had some crytals so I changed his water and re-treated like the directions said, I had raised his water temp to about 82 degrees. He was swimming around, eating, acting fine (except for the crystals), then I left at around 5pm last night.
When I get here this morning at 6am this is what I find!!!!
How can this happen so quickly?? he had no evidence of anything wrong with his fins all day yesterday...just those stupid white crystals.
Is there anything I can do for him? Oh this is just horrible...he's my favorite of all my guys :bawl: He has a white patch ( not a fungus though..it's not fuzzy or hairy textured, just his scales have turned white) under neath his head (his neck I guess you'd say) and all ..I mean ALL his fins are deteriorating..his bottom fins are so bad it's already up to his body.
OMG this is just terrible

I don't know what to do either...I can't leave here til 1pm to go anywhere and get any medicine .:cry: Is there anything I can do with what I have here, which isn't much, since none of my boys have ever been sick like this before. I have some aquari-sol ordered..hopefully it will come in the mail today.

Well, I'm not sure how it got so bad so fast...but whatever it was did the trick.
I will miss him.
