I was just wondering what the dimensions roughly are for 55 gallon tank I have a bala shark and that is the suggested size for them. I also have an Indian algae eater does anyone know how big they get.
IMO that 55 gallon is not appropriate for adultan adult bala shark because the depth of the aquarium is about as long as the fish is going to reach. The 75 gallon tank, which offers an extra 6" of depth for such a large fish, would be a wiser choice. If you really like to keep fish appropriately then you would want a tank of at least 125 gallons so they can be kept in a small school.
