As title. I have 2 clown plecs and I love them but it's like a game of 'where's Wally' every time I look in the tank.
Every so often I'll catch them out and about but dive for cover as soon as they notice me. I know this is normal behaviour so I'm not too worried.
As I have enough stocking capacity and I'm thinking of adding one more plec of a similar size but one which is less timid. From what I have read BN plecs seem to fit the bill but just wondered what other choices are out there.

Thanks in advance.

Ben

Personally i'd add another clown, they will become a lot more tame if you give them lots of cover by providing lots of mopani wood and give them time settle in more :) - sometimes plecs can come pretty much tame already when you buy them, other times they are not at all and are very shy and take a while to become accustomed to seeing you around.
The best way to tame your plecs is to simply be there when you feed them :) .
I know clown plecs are not shy plecs by nature as mine is a very brave and active little feller- however yours do sound like my para plec when i first got him, it took him many months for him to become tame but now he is the most charismatic and active plec i have :good: .
