Out of sorts betta

Hi all, I'm at work at the mo so it's a quick one.

My 14gal (see sig) - male betta not making bubble nests for a few weeks, recently just sits at bottom of tank wedged under some plants.

Yesterday did waterchange and he seems a bit bent, nothing major I don't think but may also be a bit paler, possibly my imagination.

Water temp 26oC.

PH 7.6
Nitrate is a bit high at 50-75 (tap water is similar)
Nitrite and Amonia are nil and 0.1 respectively.

No injuries. Feed every other day (and yes, he does get food even with mollies - I make sure of it!)

Any thoughts?

Do you put any Aquarium Salt in his tank when you do water changes?

No, no salt. Decholrinator. I use RO water due to high nitrates.

If he's bent not a good sign afraid, is it the tail or the spine that is slightly bent.
