Just thought I'd share pictures of my plecos with you all. The pics aren't brilliant, I'll try and get some better ones.

Nice plecs!

I like the Magnum, never seen one of those before. They are all little babies at the moment aren't they? You must post more pics of the Green Phantom when he gets bigger.

The unidentified one looks a little like a Para Pleco L075, but he's got stripes as well as spots. Pretty sure L075's only have spots. I'm not very good at the ID game though so hopefully someone else can help you out there.

Your plecs will look great when they grow and you get them in a bigger tank! Plus bigger tank = more plecs

It's not easy getting decent pics is it?. Would love to show you our plecs but we don't have a camera Only got a couple of pics of one of our boys, our Royal plec Eddie. Our camera phone just isn't good enough on the big tank, plus it has a bloody great big 3 logo that shines on the glass and right on the fish you taking a pic of

The daft thing is most of the plecs don't move that fast but I still couldn't get a decent pic! I've got some more but not of the Snowball Plec. Everytime I get the perfect shot he darts off! As soon as I've captured a pic I'll post them all.
I'd love to see a pic of your plecs, you'll have to let me know if you manage to get some sorted.

Do any of yours like cucumber? That's a good way to get a decent pic because they'll stay still for a while.

Didn't think of that, I'm going to try now. The trouble is I created a couple more caves and the Snowball seems to like it too much!

Cucumber gets my little Snowball out. He even goes for it when the big guy Eddie is on it, which none of the others dare try!

My plan (when I get a decent camera of course) is to set it up on a tripod, all framed and focused on a nice big bit of cucumber, and then sit there taking pics as they come out for it. Going to try the same with prawns as the others go bonkers for a prawn or 2.

Unfortunately it takes time and patience - most of which I don't have!

He's playing hard to get at the moment. I might have to dress the cucumber up as a female Snowball, pink lipstick, wigs, the lot!!

Another good tip, which is kind of dressing the cucumber up. I saw this on another forum, get the cucuber split in half lengthways, and stick a few algae wafers in the flesh, quite well spaced out. Plus anything else your plecs like to eat, if you use shrimp pellets and stuff, poke a load of them in as well.

God only knows what the fry would look like! Maybe on to something here....maybe not!!!
You are a godsend, Bex, I've never tried the cucumber trick and it sounds like a great idea.

Yeah, that one got a few of the plecs out to play! I can't take the credit for it though, nicked that idea from someone from another forum. We only do it as a treat every now and again. They almost get this surprised look on there faces as they munch along the cucumber and come across an algae wafer, then they grab it and swim off!

Try covering it with your hands as you're taking the photo, I have to do with my camera which has a 'funky' but useless blue LED on the front!
