Wow i love that bamboo!

As soon as I have my own place and have the space for a large marine preds tank im getting one!

Me to i am getting a shark tank as soon as my move out. 5 years time and counting.
What size set upi is it and what toehr fish have you got?

wow! i've always wanted a bamboo shark, like seriously! how much did it cost ya?
i saw one in my LFS that he got by accident, which i pretty lucky i guess lol he found an egg when he was sorting through his live rock once. it was so tiny but gorgeous!
do they always stay banded like that? what size tank dya need for it?

there's this guy on you tube who keeps them with goldfish. whats the dealio there??

thanks for reply i have him in a uk 200g reef tank, now i know i am going to get you cant keep in a rreef setup well he is great doesnt touch anything, they lose thier markings the bigger they get and just turn grey, you wont belive me when i tell you i got him for £25, and he settled and started feeding with in 2 days which is great for a shark, he is housed with a queen redtooth trigger, male and female blue jaw trigger, pink tail trigger and yellow tang and koran angel. plus all the corals, which none of the triggers touch, the shark dont touch or the angel dont touch and the triggers have been in there months and months.

will get a whole tank shot up soon,

cheers

Ive been planning on buying a bamboo shark for some years now and everyone tells me it will not live long or at all in anything less than around 500 gallon minimum...even though every book or website says 200 minimum...they say that is not true....How is your shark doing now???

Nice to see somone with a real shark for a change :p If your gona do it, do it right!

Seen them around these parts, usually about £150 each.
