BigC - Ah, ha now that sounds just the ticket - did you get it on line or in lfs?

Oh Cage.....how right you are  :D

See Trod, all the best people have Apistasia :p

Saphire, it comes in on LR - it is a pest Anemone - looks a bit like an ugly relation to a feather duster

Ski, you given up on the glue the hole up option? - liking your style with the blow-torch

The other one to try is joes juice. This is what I have used in the past and it worked really well for me. Peppermint shrimp also do a good job but not guarenteed and they may also eat some corals.

Barney, does Apistasia X clot in the same way that Joe's Juice does? I still have some of Joe's left but I may well try the other one next time, I know my local world of water do it.

P.S. Sorry to hijack your thread Seffie

P.P.S. Actually Seffie you might find this info useful so I may have got away with it!

Having just used the AiptasiaX last night, it does NOT clot like the JJ does. I'm very impressed with the speed with which it melted my aiptasia. It turned them into piles of white goo, very encouraging. Now lets just see if they come back in a week or not.

Btw, it is definitely NOT calcium hydroxide (kalkwasser) like JJ is. Although they don't list the ingredients, they do list the warnings on the bottle. And because it's only listed as an irritant (and not corrosive), it can't be kalk (cause kalk is extremely corrosive). So whatever it is that's in the bottle is likely something new. Good to know cause I was surely skeptical

Api X for me next time then!

Yeah its good stuff, How sad am I when I go round my tank with a large magnifying glass hunting these buggers down. Only found the one so far but I'm sure there's more. You mut make sure that you get the Ax into the oral disc of the anemone.
Regards
BigC

I can now confirm I have at least 2 bristle worms :hyper: whilst sitting in my normal position with my red torch out they came, ugly looking critters aren't they

The little buggers are no more, glued them into their holes and I have seen them no-more
