Ottos That Like To Suck A Little On Mystery Snail Shell And Dwarf Gour

My two ottos Benny and Joon like to suck on my ivory mystery snail shell and a few times on my dwarf gourami. Is that unusual or are they just opportunistic suckers?

My Hypoptopoma did something very similar when tank sharing with my Rabbit Snail colony, presumeably the rough snail shell harboured a few tasty morsels for the fish.

They where proberly looking for the slim they produce they do have a rep for sucking slime off fish as an easier meal

Personally i think its easier to eat algae insted of chasing a fish to suck on lol
