Hi all,

I've just got 3 Ottos and I was wondering when was the best time to feed them? evening/nighttime/daytime?
The other problem is that my dwarf gouramis eat the algae wafers! :/

Any ideas or tips people want to share?

Thanks

I have a few Ottos. I have never actually seen my Ottos eat food that I put in the tank. Obviously because they have really grown a lot in the past few months they are eating something. They do hang out on the sides of the tank and the plants and munch on algae. I was putting algae wafers in for them but my other fish eat it as well so they never got any!!

ah well.. I guess the occasional wafer will do my other fish some good otherwise they wouldnt want to eat them right?

The main worry I have is that my tank is pretty new (fully cycled - fishless) and there is no sign of any algae growing (i guess my live plant are using up all the nitrates). I hope they wont go hungry! -_-

by the way they do eat, cucumber, zuchini and peas right? by the way about shelling the peas... shelling refers to the pod or the round peas itself...
