I have a five gallon, and my stocking plan is:

1 Betta

4 Dwarf otocinculus

Hows this?

All depends on the temperment of the betta. That might work, or...you might end up with dead ottos.

Mine killed off an otto, so I keep him in a smaller tank, and moved the ottos over to a 20 gallon.

He is very friendly, so I don't have that problem.
