Ahhh, thanks. Possibly got nipped on the nose by another fish or happened when it was captured? Could also have been hurt during shipping.

Looks like a slight fungal infection to me.

One of my rainbows has it and one of my danios has had it before. The easiest way to cure it is to make sure you keep the gravel and the water clean and it will go away. Its usually caused when there is a slight abrasion on their mouth that gets infected.

Just keep your eye on it, it shouldn't spread.

Thanks so much! I've been trying to keep an eye on it, but it doesn't look any different. Do you think I should put him in a hospital tank, just to separate from infecting others? Like I was saying in the other thread, it's only that one spot.

I do 50% water changes once a week. I'll try to take a pic of the actual fish tonight and post it tomorrow if I can find the sucker...

Impur: I've had him for about 6 months now and he was fine the other week. Just seemed to show up within the week.

Also, it may be a possibility that my three-spot may have nipped him... He's a nasty little fellow. I've moved him from that tank to my 5 gallon.

Thanks for everyone input and concern! I'll keep ya'll updated!
