Otocinclus

A random post but something that came into my head and I wanted to know was will different species of otocinclus's shoal together or will they only shoal with their own

They prefer their own kind but if you only have 1 or 2 of a species, it will try to hang out with any fish that resembles it.

I have 6 otocinclus mariaes and wanted to add more but my local stores doesn't know when they will have some in but they have the dwarf suckers which to me looked very similar just a little smaller it just made me think what their reactions would be to one another if I was to add 6 of them along side maybe I'll hang on and wait
