Fish Crazy
I have 4 otos in my 20 gallon tank. They have been in there foir 2 weeks. I've noticed that at least 2 of them will at times trail 1.5" of poo behind them. I understand that white stringy poo can be a symptom of internal parasites, but this poo is brownish. They are eating fine (The tank is 100% spotless). I had brown algae (diatoms) over everything in my tank when they were first introduced to the tank. Now they get catfish pellets, cucumber, and brocolli. The vegetables are always in the tank. Nitrite 0 / Ammonia 0 / Nitrate 10 / Ph 7.5 / water temp 76F
My other fish do not have the poo problem. Serpae Tetra and Julli Cories.
Is this normal for otos or should I be worried?
