What other coldblooded fish are there that can go with goldfishes? :) I'd like some variety in my tank.

Koi,fancy goldfish, mosquito fish (may get nippy),shubunkin,or american flagfish
all are fun to look at

What about zebra danio? I've heard they do well at slightly lower temps. Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, they can go as low as 16° C (pending on the source)

I've also heard coldwater bred Oddessa Barbs can go with them to.

James.

A shoad of golden rudd, pale silver gold with red fins and tails. Beautiful to watch them school and hardy coldwater fish. They were my first fish and survived all noobie errors. Still have them :good:

And, if in the UK, just a note about Bitterlings: its legal to purchase them for indoor aquaria, but illegal to purchase them for release in outdoor walters (inluding ponds).

White cloud mountain minnows are awesome, and really colour up in the right environment (just bought some myself).

If you can get hold of some roach are a great smallish shoaling fish!
