Ok I know this is an international board and not too many of-age americans hang around here, but I still want to encourage everybody here to get out to the polls tommorrow and vote. Whether you agree with the present administration's actions, or not, make your voice heard. People didn't die over the years for us to sit on our butts in front of the TV tommorrow. I dont care if you're a republican in new york city or a democrat in dallas texas, your vote counts so go out there and make yourself heard :good:. I know I can't wait to get out there tommorrow and I hope you all cant wait either :D

And for everyone whose country of origin allows them to vote freely, I hope you do so when the time comes.

So we have :saddam: and :eek:sama: , why dont we have Bush, that would really finish off the trio!

Gotta love how no one likes bush anymore. Anywhere you go in the world people express their hatred for this man. And because of Bush, most people have different feelings towards americans now. When you vote, vote for someone who will make you proud; that represents America and the values that we ALL stand for, not just Texas. I don't think we should concern ourselves with democrat and republican, that's where the issue arrises. People don't wanna vote for one party because they don;t agree with some or most of the general party ideas, but if they actually did a little more research into a candidate, they would realize that not all republicans are bible waving, baby saving, gay bashing and war mongers that everyone thinks they are, as well as the democrats arn't all weed smoking, tree-hugging, war hating, momma's boys who won;t stand for an idea. It just happens that our last presidental election had these two types of people and made everyone start to believe their whole party was like this. I am more on the side of a democrat, but I like John McCain (Rep. Arizona) and hate Hillary Clinton (Dem. NY(my home state :X ))...so just cause your in a party, doesn't mean you love all dem's and hate all repub's.

Basic Jist of my political rant....... Vote for someone who appeals to you and that you think can represent the greater picture of America so that people around the world will stop thinking we are all morons and just big bully's :good:

LOL...I thought in the last sentence it said Mormons. . Yaa so today is VOTING! So everyone on this forum that lives in the U.S should have voted already but over here you got a little time left. Please do vote Arnold out of goverment! He cannot govern any state for his life and its getting sad. Plus he closed down 3 schools in my school district which sucks.

Lol, well, I did my civic duty and I hope you all did too. Be interesting to see how things play out in the morning... Looks like things are going down to the less than 1% area in Virginia

Actually if you had ever met any Iraqis, you would know most of them are on the side of Bush. Only uneducated idiots who believe everything the liberal media shoves down our throat stoup down and cry about how Bush is to blame for everything. Bush has about as much control of this country as the queen does in the UK.

And sorry ox - looks like your stuck with another term of hillary

I know several people who have been to iraq, and they all say apart from a smal group most people over there are glad to be free of sadam,
The country is going through some tough times now, the ruler for many years has been overthrown outside poltical issues are making the place worse to live (various muslim extreemists, aswell as wester influinces) all trying to make a statement there. but given time the country wil prosper

wow... so much to respond to... where to start....

I agree Bush is a moron, but he has a little more power than the queen... sorry. His cabinet does control about 99% of policy making though he does make a stop at the U.N. here or there or proposes a bill once and again. And anyone who says you can't blame bush then you are crazy. The president exists as a single entity and he is responsible for bringing in his cabinet which creates the policies... ya he had to pay favors off to people and thats how most of them got their jobs....but thats why party politics ruins democracy....takes the choice out of it. It's either A or B and thats it..... O and their only on the side of bush because if the whole country...including the "government," said we dont want you here... we pull out and then the country is dissolved into small little factions and it turns to 10x worse than Israel. They have learned to play western politics and have learned that if you want any power... you need to kiss alot of a$$ first.

I agree that most of the media is liberal but conservative sources exist out there too. And I dont take everything everyone says to heart, theres no way you can.... cause anybody who says anything whether they are a journalist or a concerned mother has their own opinion to which they will interject whether they know it or not.

Ya I know....damn woman......

Thanks :good:

I totally agree 100%. It always come down to religion...what god tells you to do. The extremists of course are doing everything they can to screw up Iraq and make us look more like monsters than we already do and they doing a mighty good job.... Sadam had to go and I'm quite pleased they finally found enough judicial power to convict him and sentence him to death. But now is the trying time when we still have to find a way to make the Iraqi's self-sufficient... they can't depend on troops from other countries forever.

Your last statement about the western influences are quite interesting too... Yes we think because we live a "modern" life that we live the best way of life... but who are we to tell anyone else they are doing wrong. If they wanna keep living the way they have for a couple thousand years... then go for it....

Yikes, almoast wish I didnt start this thread. Hopefully I encouraged someone to vote, but I dont want this to turn into a political storm.
