On Oct 10th I made a post about the bloating of my betta, I hope it's okay that I'm making another.

So on the 10th he was bloated and by the 11th his scales were sticking out. I bought treatment for dropsy and have been giving it to him daily, it turn the water yellow though, ick!
Today wehn I cleaned him he looked to a bit better! His scales are no longer sticking out and he looks like he did on the 10th, the day before the scales started to stick out. Also his mouth had been open a little bit the entire time he was sick and today he has closed it. He's also pooping normally.
I'm going to post some pictues to see if anyone else thinks he has improved.

Okay so this was him on the 10th

he does look better. I would suggest continuing to baby him with frequent water changes. you can offer him food, but take it out if he doesn't eat it, and if he DOES eat, don't give him very much. Some pea, or one pellet and nothing else. You want to bring him back slowly as it's better than too much too fast.

well, if the treatment is not done, then yes, continue it. however if you've finished the treatment period, then just keep him in clean water.

It looks like he's improved. ;)
Yeah, keep doing what you're doing, & make sure you don't over-feed if he does eat. You don't want him to bloat up again!

He does look alot better, i'm so glad the pineconing has gone down its a really good sign. Good luck and keep us up to date

Okay I hate to say it, but I don't think he's going to get better. I think he could be getting worse, not sure, let me know what you all think.
He's usually very happy when I clean him, but today he is just sitting on the bottom.
I'm starting the dropsy treatment agian to see if it helps.

This was him on saturday.

Well, I remember when You Beta had dropsey. Clean his tank as often as you can. I gave You Beta his Dropsy meds every 4-6 days and he got through it. He died of an infection a couple months later  Anyway, I hope he gets well soon.
