Oscar White Trimmed Fins

My Oscar's got white lines around the edge of his fins, do you reckon it's where he's growing or something?

Mine has exactly the same white trim to the dorsal, and tail fins, although it's starting to go a little orange now, but still stands out. Excuse the Dark pics, she's hiding in the shade, must be camera shy!

and yea it seems a good way to tell how much hes grown.

well hes got some competition in the form of LisaLQ's oscar.

hes getting there tho. has more of that colour in him everyday and you can see from my sig he used to be red.

yup, just like that, glad it's not just mine, he's had loads since he got in his new house, he's a big fat pasty now!! made me laugh the other day, put a frozen bloodworm cube in and he ate it in one go, no defrosting or anything, greedy guts!

i was giving my fish prawns and hercules grabbed 3 of them all at once then swam off to his corner to eat them.

cudnt shut his mouth it was well funny!

yeah Oscar does that at feeding tiem usually, grabs all the food and stuffs it in his mouth, but he can't swallow it all ro shut his mouth so just swims around liek that and polly and vicky go round after him catching the bits that came out of his mouth
