Oscar tank mates in my 5ft x 2ft x 2ft aquarium

I have a 5x2 aquarium custom built which I’m going to be putting a juvenile Oscar in

I am wondering what tank mates I could put with him/her in a tank this size.
Roughly around 130-140 gallons I believe.

Maybe flagtail tetra?
Tinfoil barb?
Please leave some suggestions

Have your Oscar , or preferably a pair , be the lone specimen fish . They get big and your aquarium is a nice size for a pair . They also become quite pet like and they will enjoy interacting with you .

They are a great wet pet and some have to live like that but if you did want tank mates tinfoils get too big, flag tails often get sold singularly but are really shoaling fish but they are expensive which is why most only keep one.

I’d be looking at bigger silver dollar species like red hooks and blackberry’s. Maybe some big headstanders like leporinnis but can have their own issues with nipping. I’m struggling for catfish as the suitable ones always hide or are messy like big pleco species like royals or a cactus.

A 5x2x2 should work out at 150 gallons I think so you do have space but just a gamble.
