Mum came to visit today, not into fish one little bit and cannot see the point of my tanks taking up so much room, each time she visits there is usually a new addition, so I tried to keep my back to the tank with rusty in, but eventually she spotted him and fell head over heels in love , she started talking to me about my neices tank thats neglected saying she is going to take it off her, great I thought, till she said, "can you get me one of them for it (pointing to Rusty)" "eeeerrrmm how big is the tank?" I asked "about a foot x a foot she said, plenty big enough for that cute little fella" she said

Sadly she cannot have a big tank in the home as her flat is not on the ground floor and the floor wouldnt take the weight of a tank for an oscar, so she has gone home in a bit of a sulk

Errr sorry sweetie but no chance, my hubby has refused to remove the downstairs toilet and install a lift so I can utilise the space where the stairs are. Dont know why

Too small, I have my eye on my hubby's shed though Already managed to get one 400l tank in the consevatory

I thought that with the conservatory, it leaks anyway so instant waterchange , dogs & kids can use the front garden

get your mum to check if her flat has concrete floors . if it does then shes all good
