I went in w/ my friend to his orthodontist, you know, just because I'm such a good friend. Well, to reward my good-friend-being, his orthodontist had a, about 55G, SW fish tank. While he was in with his orthodontist, I sat quietly studying the tank. It had fake gravel, and fake corl and rock.
But guess what I saw as its in habbitants?

4 3 striped Damsel fish
3 Yello Damsel fish
1 purplish Tang
1 purple Trigger fish
1 weird striped purple thing

Every thing was pretty small, and it seemed everything let everyother thing have its own space. I almost had enough nerve to say something....but then we'd left. Like I said, everything was pretty small and left alone. Poor fish.

The water was very clean, and if I hadn't have know better I would have thought its was FW.

So.......I just thought I'd share. Pointless, I know, but I feel special because I saw something you guys' didn't.

I don't want to come off as defending the orthodontist's tank, but in some cases if the aquarium maintenance is hired out, the maintenance company will stock the tank with inhabitants. In this particular case it may be possible that these fish are going to be transferred from the tank to another customers tank once they outgrow this tank. It is not uncommon to see tank maintenance companys "rotating fish" from one account to another depending on the tank size requirements of the fish. I don't like the fact that the tank is overstocked though, nothing in the tank can be very happy.

I dont know. I just called my friend, but he didn't answer. Its on Grand Ave. In St. Paul, near Bearkly ST. :dunno:
