I recently bought 5 White Skirts thinking they would be nice to have with the Black Skirts. Wrong.
Whites are half the size of the Blacks yet but chased the Blacks constantly and sometimes 2 or 3 of the Whites would gang up on one Black.

They obviously didn't hurt the Blacks but would not let them school and kept them constantly on the run to get away from them.

Fortunately I had a 10 gallon tank ready as I was about to purchase a Betta for that tank but had to move these White Skirts in there. Obviously, the Betta is out for now.

Why would these White Skirts not like the Black Skirts? So odd. My Blacks just love blood worms and the Whites won't touch them.

I'd have to say I have no idea. I have kept both but not at the same time, and they seemed to have similar dispositions. Your situation is very interesting. Will the fish store take the white ones back? Or the black ones if you prefer the white?
