Is ordering fish online and getting them shipped to your home a good idea? were i live we only have 2 local fish stores and they have the same fish and im restocking my tank and i thought about getting something special instead of whats at my local fish store. If i could your guys opinons on the subject it would be helpful

Where are you based?
I've ordered online and its been fine, I've just ordered some fish now.

I have been told that it is not good for the fish. Maybe you should do overnight shipping.
I haven't seen any websites that do anything other than overnight shipping for live stock. It's not much different than shipping fish to your LFS, either way. It's not like they breed their own fish in the store  at least, mine don't

<br />That is what they do.
what is the site called, my 2 local fish stores dont stock the fish im looking for

What kind of fish you looking for?
It will help me recommend you the right one.

pygmy corys, galaxy rasoras and chilli rasboras, im having a look at the sweetknowleaquatics site, the shipping is - Delivery costs £13.95 for all orders over £30 & £18.95 for all orders under £30. is that a good deal?

Not to bad, my lfs charge 12 pound I think for delivery, no minimum charges, here is their stocklist and order page - http://www.tropicalfishfinder.co.uk/stores_products.asp?store=54&type=Fish
