Ordering fish by post

Im new to fishkeeping and got all my fish from the lfs.

Have seen ads for having fish delivered to your front door. This seems odd to me. I cant check the fish out first and surely this would stress them out i thought.

Then i thought - well they get stress being imported anyway and maybe there is a reputable company that gurantees fish health and if they delivered real quick then it could be ok, especially if it means you can get a fish that you cant in your lfs.

Anyone order their fish to be delivered ? Is it a responsible thing to do ? Any recommendations of a 'good' company in UK that does this or do you not recommend doing this ?

I have used them, they are very good. Deliver all over the UK for £10 and have a very good range.

Have never used it myself, but am about to. Everyone seems to use Trimar in the Uk www.trimar.co.uk THey have a comprehansive stock list and postage is only a tenner. They deliver to anywhere ni the U.K.

I have used Tri-mar to, great selection and they always pick out the heathiest fish. The staff are always great especailly the owner Monty.
