Ordered My First Betta!

Just ordered my first betta its a half moon. Can you cross breed betta eg: half moon with crowntails??

you can cross breed HM (half moon) with CT (crowntail) but you won't necessarily get a HMCT, it's a big genetic thing. One will be more dominant than the other and all that.

it's complicated.

So its better to keep the same breed together? just try different colours?

concentrate on perfecting a tail type or colour is best for starters.

isn't a crowntail x half moon cross called a half sun? or is that a crowntail x plakat ?

i have no idea! i was guessing the whole genetics thing
it confuses me! was never very good at science.

You've got a very nice Betta .. It's a halfmoon.

I just want to share my crossbreed between CT and HM. Fins is still growing.
