right i need help with planning what order i put my stuff in
i want to now when can i put in corals, fish, inverts and anything else people say the order but theyve all confused me
i was thinking isnt it
1 week (if cycled) Fish
4weeks Inverts (my clean up crew)
8-10 weeks my corals

please help out

I would get the fish at the same time or after the clean up crew. I doubt in a week it will get cycled thats what I thought could happen but the next day I found a amonia spike ...And you get corals when your tank matures a little bit so 8 weeks sounds good to get some hardy corals in :good:

Your tank COULD cyle within a day tbh - But keep a track of your readings

The usual way is a Clean up crew 1st then a fish or 2

:good:

okay cool so clean up crew when i have stability, fish when its real safe and then corals when its matured. just had to clear that up in my mind as i was just totaly confrazzled

Hi folks, my first post as a new sponsor so a big hello! :D
OK, when stocking an aquarium things are a bit different to what you might think. Firstly if you get ammonia or nitrite spikes you should not put anything in until they have gone, but if you have set up a good berlin system you may not get any spikes at all.
I would recomend stocking your clean-up crew first, these are important as you are likely to get various algae growing and you need to control them. To be honest you can add the corals first of all (provided that it is stable and no ammonia spikes etc), corals do not work in the same way as fish in that they will actually remove nitrogenous waste from the water rather than add to it like fish will, just make sure you start with hardy species like sarcophyton.
Fish should go in last.
Hope that helps
Clayton
