Not that I am ready yet but I am thinking about stock for a South American Biotope have ordered the plants, but what fish would you stock and in what order would you put the fish in. Will not be putting first ones in until the tank has cycled and cant see it fully stocked until the end of the year.
Tank is 60"x18"x24"
Calculator works out at between 85 and 170" of fish fully grown (dependant on filtration)

Hey,

I was thinking of doing a south american biotope tank and this is what I came up with:

3 Platys,
3 Guppies,
6 Black Widow Tetras,
6 Neon Tetras,
2 Bristlenose Plecs,
3-6 Sterbai Cory.

Id suggest putting some of these in your tank aswell as some of the other suggestions you get!

orange shark

Not to keen about guppies and platys
Was thinking of going about 10 corys
6 Bristlenoses
20 cardinals or neons
do not know what else or in what order

I would not do the corydoras and the bristlenoses together, as they would out compete each othe for food on the bottom. I would stick with either one or the other but not both!
