ok setting one up after xmas
so how many fish?
would a 900LPH power head be fine?
thinking of going LED later on
what corals can i keep with the stock lighting?
would lps coral be fine?
thinking of a shrimp + goby can i add 2 gobies?
also i would like something that swims higher than a goby what small fish would that be? or couldnt i add any more than 1 fish?
im thinking of having just lps corals and maybe a few of my soft coral frags, but mainly lps is that possible?

shrimp and goby pair maybe 2 gobyies?
lots of snails
i might not add hermit crabs if i do it will be blue legs
no cleaner shrimp they #101## me off sometimes
im thinking fire shrimp

im going to have 6kg of live rock and 1 kg of live rock rubble carbon and rowaphos

any other tips on this tank?

Good choice. The Orca 450 is a pretty nice tank (though the stock equipment is rubbish).

How many fish? Depends on the fish but I would say max is 3 small fish.

900LPH powerhead would be fine (gives x15 turnover). However if you are going for an LPS tank then I would strongly recommend not getting just 1 900lph powerhead. This is likely to cause a lot of flow in a large part of your tank which a lot of LPS will not like. I would go for 3 300lph powerheads or two 450lph ones. This makes it easier to control the flow.

Corals? Softies will be fine, LPS will also be fine but the lighting is not good enough for SPS longterm (you may keep some alive but they wouldn't do well).

Pistol shrimp and goby would work well. Though pistol shrimp can sometimes be a nightmare with kicking up sand over corals so just something to be aware of when placing corals.

LED lighting would work well on this tank but to be honest I would say its probably overkill.

2 gobys might be ok together, depends which ones you pick.

Try looking out for a yellow assessor, lovely little fish but rare as rocking horse poo!!
