Orca Filter

Morning all.

I have a quick question about the foam filter in my orca tl-450. Is it possible to remove said black filter and replace it with live rock and then remove the bio balls and finally remove the noodles, i think that the bio balls and noodles do more harm then good.

I am also getting a nano soon and intend to do just that, have Live rock rubble in one compartment and Cheato in the other.

Yes I would recommend doing it I have an orca 550 and took all the filter media that came with it out straight away.

I have rowaphos, LR rubble and chaeto in the back chambers
