10 Congo tetra is the thing I paused on , I’m not sure if you have ever saw a full sized Congo tetra but there no tiddler . Put it this way iv saw Congo tetra pushing 4inchs and that no exaggeration, angles and eba don’t warrant a dither of that size , I know from your threads your having a rough time getting a dither group to go with your eba but I’d be look back toward cardinal size than Congo in a 55

Ahh okay, I didn’t realise that they got to that size, I read 2.5-3 inches.

What about a school of 6, or would this still be too big?

If not, back to the drawing board.

I have a few Colombian tetra who are 3inchs , problem is these sizes get recorded from an average 5/10 would be that recorded size but after a few years it’s surprising how big theses larger tetra grow , i mean Congo would work easy and 10 would be a great number just I feel like you could make something smaller work
