Opinions on 100G Acrylic

Im considering purchasing/trading for a 100G Acrylic tank.
It comes with stand and canopy and all equipment necessary including a sump.

It has a overflow box that runs the entire length of the tank (which is new to me).

Im wondering how good acrylic is? I have all glass tanks and have always bought glass tanks, but this deal might be a good one not to pass up.

How much do you think the whole package is worth?

Is it worth dealing with acrylic?

I already have a 150G Freshwater and a 75G Freshwater.

I would never have another acrylic tank personally. It's too bad they scratch so easily.

My 35 gallon acrylic is 14 years old and I have only one small scratch. I think the benifits make up for for the small amount of care needed. A few favorite features of my tank are seamless front sides, a black acrylic back and it does not need a molded frame like glass. That being said, I also love my 16 gallon glass as well primarilly because of the cost.

I'm afraid I can't help you as far as the price. I can tell you that my tank was purchased for $85 and now goes for $185. I would think twice about spending that much today.

The tank im looking at has a sump built into the back of the tank. Its behind the overflow which runs the entire length of the tank. It has a black background.

I have never seen such a thing before.

Its not in the best of shape, it does have scratches but ive read that they are easy to take off?

Im tryin to figure out what it might be worth, comes with tank and canopy and the pump for the sump.
