Open Brain With Diamond Goby

Will this be a problem? I have heard that diamond and other sand sifting gobies can cover the brains with sand and kill them. Any suggestions? I just got one tonight and put it in and it's so awesome. I will add pics to my journal tomorrow when the lights are on.

have yet to see his tentacles out for feeding. Anyone have tips on feeding the brain?
