I went to see some fights last night and my friend picked me up early (5pmish) and the fights were scheduled to be over by 9 or so, so theoretically i would have been home by 10pm. Which would have been roughly 12 hours after i turned the lights on so I wasn't too worried about it. I had a few beers and such at the fights and my friends wanted to go to the bar afterwards. We went and since I didn't drive out to their house, I was stuck at their mercy to get a ride home later. About 2am i remembered my lights were still on but by then there's nothing i could do, no one wuz sober enough to drive. I managed to get home by 10am but my sarcophyton looked like it had some stringy ish hanging off of it. I'm sure my fish and corals have been stressed cuz of this, what's the best thing to do? Leave the lights off for 24 hours? will that stress them out even more?

Either leave the lights off or leave thm greatly reduced (50% or less) so that they can repair from the over exposer, Don't worry, a little extra light can't cause to much harm, But maybe its time to get a timer.
