omg im so happy with my new spawn, they are 2 weeks old but ill start from the start .
i baught a blue red DT male and put him with a red VT female and the fry from them were CT and VT and i got one male PK from them well he is grown up and 2 weeks ago i spawned the PK with a marble VT female and the fry are just what i hoped for I HAVE DOUBLETAIL FRY im so happy the splits in the tail are perfect
i was unsure if i would get any doubletails but i was wrong and have loads there are a few VT but more DT.....i shall give them there 1st water change today as i was told u do the 1st one when they are 2 weeks old.
cant wait to see the colours and what they will end up lookin like

Hi,
Are they the PK with a marble VT female from the spawn of the blue red DT male and put him with a red VT female? (I looks like that is what you are saying.) If so, all of the babies from that spawn should carry the DT Gene. Breeding any 2 from that spawn would give you some DT's.

DT + VT spawned there fry were CT and VT with one PK then i spawned the PK with a differnt female and most of there fry are DT with a few VT

i still dont know how to show the genos of fish thats just to hard for an essex girl lol


the marble VT isnt any relation to the male
