Onto The Refugium

As I have just found out that my 75 gallon is cycled and ready to add fish (thank oyu Steelheair, and Skifletch) I would like to start with a refugium. I have outfitted my sump to have a compartment to hold the refugium. There are several methods I have read about but am not sure which is the best. Could someone please let me know what they started their refugium with (ie Miracle Mud, etc), and what species were placed.

I use the simplest of refugiums . a small piece of LR, a clump of growing chaeto (macroalgae), and some sand. no fantastic substrates are required and it works like a charm. Nitrates have been 0 since I set up my tank
