Here are a few pictures of my snake Corona. He is an African Brown House Snake and he's five years old. He is a very curious and gentle little guy. He is about 2' long.

i'm so jealous.....i soo want a snake...i BIG one...but NOO....my dad hates the things...they "got their legs taken from them, and made to slither low on the earth for the rest of their miserable lifes for their evil doings"....blah, who cares?! they're still really cute, and it's not like all of them bite. "they are untrainable things...it's been proven that you CAN NOT tame a snake....they can turn on you at any moment" ya...i suppose thats right....IF YOU GIVE THE THING A REASON TO BITE YOU! i mean, think about it....their mind is set on living....and we are a threat to that as far as they know. they just know that we are bigger, and we can harm them....so all they do is protect themselves....and i don't think that people should hate them for that.

when my bf got a snake, we had to stop by my house for a while, and he stayed on the porch with it because my dad didn't want it in the house....but after a while, he started biatchin about it just being on the porch...IN A CAGE. all it is is a harmless baby ball python, and he still don't want it near the house....on the property for that matter.

i know that alot of southerners are raised to fear snakes, and know them as bad things and all, but my dad isn't even being reasonable.

well, anyway...i think that he's really really cute....looking at snakes and lizards just hits a soft spot if i can vote for a POTM more than once, then i also vote for him. he's just too cute...love him!

Yes it's unfortunate. Snakes are always misunderstood. They are not evil or bad....and my snake doesn't bite...well he hasn't yet anyway. lol
My parents felt the same way when they found out that I bought a snake. But he really is a gentle little boy. haha

the thing that sucks is that my mom likes snakes too.....but my dad is the "boss" of the house.....and he's got his mind set on "the only good snake, is a dead one" i find the way he thinks very ignorant....yet i get yelled at for telling him so

how big does he get anyway? i wanna snake that gets to the size that you can wear them around ur sholders n stuff. that'd be soo cool! lol. i think snakes and lizards have gotta be some of my favorite pets. dunno why....but maybe it's cuz i've never had any before...i dunno....i just find them so fascinating.

I have always loved snakes. I actually wanted to get a ball python but I didn't have enough room at the time.

He is about 2' long and he won't get any bigger. He is full grown. Females are larger...anywhere from 2 1/2' to 3'. Some can get even larger than that but it's not common.

does it eat bugs or rodents?

the ball python is SUPPOSED to be eatin little hoppers.....but he refused to take notice to the one we got him. thing came right up to his nose, and the snake jumped backwards when it touched him...we figured he's just not hungry yet.

He eats both pinkies and hoppers. I never get live ones as I also love them and it can be dangerous for snakes.

Ball Pythons can be picky eaters. Sometimes it's hard to get them to eat. How long has he had him?

for a few days. not very long at all....i think he got him on saturday...if not, then friday.

i enjoy watching the excitement of live food and snakes....so fun.

You should get some pictures of him...I would love to see them.

Aww I can't. I know that is what would happen in the wild etc...but I have a soft spot for all animals. I wouldn't be doing what I do if I didn't. lol
Plus, I have owned hampsters and gerbils practically my whole life...although I don't own any now.
