Here is a picture of one of my newish discus....they were being SOOOO difficult.

Didn't want to use flash because it washes out their color, so needless to say, they knew this and hid in the dark the entire time. Hmph. :X

Maybe some day I will get a picture of the other one....who looks like he is the same species as Barbosa and has the same screwed-up eye. -_- I thought that was odd.

Well, here is the one.....isn't he pretty?

Gorgeous! Discus are one of the coolest fish and a relaxing break from cichlid watching I think

Discus wat the first species tank I ever wanted.......until I saw the price tag..YIKES!!!

But they are sooooo beautiful and peaceful, I just love them!

And yours are no exception!! So, do you have 3 Discus then??

You get yours from riverfront? I looked at that species there, and thought I would try the pigeon bloods instead.

When I asked, they were keeping them in water with a ph of 7, untreated.

Hes beautiful! Give em time to settle. Mine took a few weeks but now they come up to the glass whenever they see me. (Looking for food)

DOLORES: The tank is a 45 gallon. :)

Sorrell: I agree.

silver: There are 4 now.

Michael Roth: I actually got all 4 of them from Chums. He gave me the first 2 and I got the second 2 for 20 each. So I basically have stolen discus. :p

AmberC: The first two were like that (Bootstraps and Barbosa) but I think they are a little afraid of the two new ones still...they are bigger. Hope they get used to them soon.... :/ They are definitely piggies though. I love when they get fat bellies, so cute.
