One of my loaches

yep, he has still been hiding under the rocks, i offered him some food yesterday, he took like a few nibbles, then left the flakes and moved on to eating off the bottom, he sometimes stays still in one spot at the bottom of the tank. I did come down last night at 1:00am. He was moving about a bit, and eating some off the bottom, but in comparison to the other loach who moves round all the time and eats everything, that one is very lazy

What kind of loach is it? What are the details of the tank and when did you get them?

Many loaches are nocutural and can be shy during the day. It can also take loaches a fair amount of time to settle into their new home and so may be shy for a few days, even more sometimes.

They are pakistani (yo-yo) loaches
I have a 23 gallon tank
I change the water every 6-7 days
I got them a week ago tuesday (not the past tuesday- the one before)
They both seemed quite excited when they first came into the tank, but now one is staying shy and hiding where the other seems to be very energetic and eats the flakes

Was the tank cycled? Were the water parameters in check?

They may just be settling into their new surrondings and dealing with the pressure, give them some time and feed just before lights out to ensure they have a chance to feed.
