She was sold to me as a male "round-tail" before I could tell the difference between male and female. :sly:

Thanks for looking! :)

Yes, it is a SHE! I saw the eggs shape at the bottom. She is a cute green color plakat. :) Just don't worried what sexes and as long you like her and that is the matter. :p

Thanks guys. :D

I actually have a few bettas that I thought were males. I don't breed them, so it doesn't matter. I probably would have bought them anyway. :p

yeeviabetta - how can you tell she is a plakat, as opposed to a veil? :dunno: I've always been confused by this. :X

What I usually look at is the fin at the back, veils are usually a little smaller in shape, and placats are round, kinda semi-circled, but I could be 100% wrong.

I look at the mouth, fins and body in the movement of pictures your taken. She might be a veil female too. Anyway, petmart mixed their betta in breeding. :) I got a mixed female crowntail sold it as a veil female. :D

Sorrell, Aren't she is beautiful? I like the blue edge too. Very different green too.
