Anyway, I noticed he was sitting crooked yesterday on the bottom. At first I thought maybe he was sick, but he seemed okay. I then noticed his rear paired fin on that side (is that an anal or pelvic fin?) was only a stub.
My question is what might have done this. I've heard that gravel isn't good for corys, but sadly I found this out after putting my tank together. The alternative is that one of my tiger barbs (who I had to relocate from their other tank due to pop-eye in two of them) chewed the fin off. However, they're all immature (largest still smaller than the cory), and in the other tank they avoided chewing on the far more alluring guppy fins.
So which seems more likely?
