One eyed Danios

I bought five Zebra Danios the other night from my LFS. I noticed the night after that a couple of them had only one eye. However I have no realised that they all only have one eye. There isn't a two-eyed Danio in the tank. The eyeless side of the head is just a gaping socket

I think I am going to return them to the LFS. They are the only fish in my tank. Any ideas?

return them immediately... next time try hand picking them... as in "I want that one" never say "i'll have five"

Wow! Never heard of such bad luck. You'd think out of all the fishies in the tank you'd get at least one out of 5 with 2 eyes! Crazy. I agree, take them back - get some better lookin guys!

...Though it sucks for the pirates with one eye - they can't wear eyepatches so no one will want them! Oogly.

the fish could have had popeye. popeye if left untreated will lead to loss of the eye. does not hurt the fish, but can make him more vulnerable to attacks on his blind side.

Of course a blind side also makes them easier to catch. Maybe that's why they got selected?

That's what I always do, If you don't hand pick the store MAY (not always but occasionally) will give you sick ones or ones with mutations. Sorry about the Danios.
