One disaster after another

Ok... this new 6 sectioned tank has been nothing but trouble.

The first morning I had the fish in there they all got some sort of fungus. I used kanacyn and it cleared up pretty quickly.

Then two nights ago my female jumped and now her fins have turned colors and look to be rotting away.

Yesterday my cambodian in another tank had this really puffy glazed over eye and it's even worse this morning.

And then to top that off. I turn on the light in the 6 section today and they all have ich. JOY! The male and female on the left have it very badly and as you go down the line it gets a little better. I added "ich away" salt and a drop of stress coat in every section.

I think there are a few reasons why this is happening.

1: no light and they are getting stressed/cold (trying to get hood fixed)

2: there is NO decor for hiding places so they flare all day causing stress. (Been bothering EVERYONE to take me to wal-mart for about a week. I knew they were getting stressed.)

3: I'm a bad fish mom

4: I just did a water change and maybe something is different with the tap.

And I want to breed? HA! I can't even keep the ones I have now healthy, how am I supposed to breed?

Well, do you have the Indian Almond Leaf? Maybe that will help out if you can get your hands on it.

we all have bad times..your not a bad fish mom at all either..i had a brain fart yesterday and decided to clean my glass covers with washing up liquid... only to find my tank full of bubbles this morning and two rather un-happy female bettas

Do you have a speace heater? That's what I do in my fish room in the summer beacuse it still gets chilly at night here. I just run that space heater to up the room temperature and they stay very happy. They aren't real expensive either but can be a challenge to find this time of year.

Well... I put a reptile basking light over

It's gone up to like 70 degrees... but still

Once I get the light fixed I think they'll be happier.

Oh, the tank isn't usually that cold but it's morning and for some STUPID reason my mom has the front door open.
