heya folks, i undivided my betta tank yesterday and moved my ct male to his new 1g bowl. hes very angrey wit me and doesn't like being away from the female or being down sized a whole gallon. my male halfmoon vt is very happy, he loves his 1g bowl, so much more room thean the 1/2 gallon he was in. my vt female currently owns the whole 10g but that will change soon i hope. iv bought frozen blood worms and they love em.

my males eat alot but my female will eat one blood worm or 2 betta bites and then thats it, do female userally not eat a whole lot? shes not thin or anything -_-

I suppose it might depend somewhat on her size, but all of my females are little piggies who would eat my hand if they were big enough.

I think it really depends on the individual fish. I have some that will eat all day, other's that pick, and two that lay on the bottom's of their tanks for two days if they are overfed. Different strokes for different folks I guess. I wouldn't be concerned unless she used to be a good eater and now isn't, if there has been a shift in her activity level, or shows any signs of disease ;)

my ct is 5 months aold and my vt, theres no telling. my female is accually small and still growing a lil so size might b it. she never di eat much so :dunno:
