i have some water milfoil(i think) that was labled at my lps as frill and it is all big and bushy. and now that it has grown up to the surface of the tank the top 1 inch is covered in little strands of green hair alge and lower down some very peculiar(i love big words and dont care if i cant spell em) long thin black strands of what looks like a very very long piece of hair alge except they reproduce(more pop up on strands each week) and my rotala rotundifolia has green slim alge on it as well as the black strands.
how do i get rid of this alge? or stop it from spreading?
